Services Offered
Initial Consultation
The initial consultation is a video call which lasts for approximately fifteen minutes. This call will enable us to gain a better understanding of your reasons for seeking therapy, as well as to gauge the feel of our interactions to check our “goodness of fit” for therapeutic collaboration.
Couples Sessions
Couples sessions last for approximately 50 minutes. I have limited openings for couples sessions. In working with couples, I work specifically with couples experiencing grief.
I currently offer in-person sessions only for couples therapy.
Individual Sessions
Individual sessions last for approximately 50 minutes. Many people seek therapy for specific problems- however, therapy does not have to be solely about problems. What do you want to learn about you?
Sessions can be either virtual or in-person.
Pro-bono Sessions
This 12-week, once-weekly therapeutic collaboration is designed to support individuals experiencing financial hardship. The opportunity is open to individuals aged 13 and older. I work with one individual every 12 weeks. Applications accepted on a rolling basis. Apply below.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Many people seek therapy for specific issues, struggles, or challenges that they may be experiencing (in example, the death loss of a loved other). However, people frequently enter therapy feeling motivated toward change without necessarily having a clear idea of what “change” looks like. Therapy can be an opportunity to gain clarification on many aspects of your life, self, values, relationships…

I don’t believe that there is a “typical” session. A big part of the work in therapy is becoming a more full and authentic version of you, by way of a safe and trusting relationship based on acceptance, honesty, and mutuality.
Each therapeutic relationship has its own life, which develops over time. Some clients show up with specific items that they’ve identified through journaling, expressive arts, etc. Other clients show up seeking guidance on where to go. We can go in many different directions in our time together. Therapy does not have to look a certain way.

Transformative experience can occur in a single session. That said, I am geared more toward long-term work with clients. The general answer to this question is “as long as you find it helpful”.
-
You may find a variance of responses from therapists on this. My general stance is no more than twice weekly and no less than once every other week. However, individual circumstances may warrant more or less. I’m open for discussion.

My blend involves attachment-informed, existential, experiential, humanistic, relational, and somatic therapies. In essence, I seek to be a safe and trusted other in relation with you- present with your experience, as well as with my own. I hold trust in the process of the therapeutic relationship, and make my best effort toward seeing, hearing, feeling, and understanding.

I feel a deep resonance with the work of grief, loss, and life transitions. When I mention loss, I refer to both death and non-death losses. “The loss within the loss”.
Some of the specific challenges/concerns/issues/problems with which I work are:
Grief (acute, anticipatory, chronic, collective, complicated, cumulative, delayed, disenfranchised, masked, traumatic).
Loss (death and non-death (e.g., loss of sense of safety/trust).
Life transitions (e.g., role shifts, geographic relocation).
Depression
Anxiety
Attachment wounds
Aging
Infertility
Self-esteem
Relational difficulties
Caregiver challenges
Chronic health conditions

I do. I am trauma-informed in my practice, though I do not specifically refer to myself as a trauma therapist, as grief is the work that calls to me. I adamantly believe that loss is inherent to trauma, though not necessarily the opposite. I have depth of experience working with individuals who have experienced single-event, chronic, complex, and relational traumas.
