Jon Shuffler, LCSW

My art of practice is built on the understanding that we are shaped by our early relationships, yet that we remain capable of growth and transformation throughout our lives. My approach is experiential – focusing not only on insight, but also on lived experience in the present moment. Our therapeutic relationship becomes a safe base for healing, where patterns from the past can be recognized, felt, and transformed. I work with clients to go beyond symptoms- to the deeper questions of meaning, purpose, and connection that lie beneath them.

Creativity infuses my practice, offering pathways to healing that extend beyond traditional talk therapy. I draw upon expressive arts, metaphor, embodied awareness, and imaginative exploration to help you access parts of your experience that may lie beyond explicit language. Whether through symbolic expression, narrative reconstruction, or mindful awareness, creative methods acknowledge the complexity of human experience and open doorways to profound change.

When not in the sacred space of the therapy room, I can be found reading, writing, progressing physical fitness, and spending time in nature.
